Vivek Oberoi’s upcoming film PM Narendra Modi that is a biopic on the incumbent and 14th Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has finally got its release date today. The opposition parties have alleged that the film violates the code of conduct as it is releasing at a time when the General Elections 2019 are going to take place soon. The film that was earlier scheduled to release on April 5 was put on indefinite hold after a PIL was filed against its release.
However, now, the apex body has cleared the film and it is all set to release on April 11. Vivek who is essaying the role of the PM shared the news on his social media account. The makers also released a new dialogue promo ‘Hindustan’ of the film. In the dialogue promo Vivek says, “Hindustan banne ke baad bhi hum Hindustani nahi ban paaye.”
Thank you to each and every one of you for your blessings, love and support. Thank you to the Indian Judiciary. We hope you like the film and that it inspires you all! #PMNarendraModi Jai Hind @OmungKumar @sandip_Ssingh @sureshoberoi @anandpandit63 @TSeries pic.twitter.com/ogAKP1jG77

Vivek had earlier appeared in a TV interview where he spoke about the film and gave reasons how PM Narendra Modi biopic does not violate any code of conduct of the Election Commission and is not a propaganda film for the Bharatiya Janta Party. The Supreme Court on Friday refused to hear an urgent hearing of a fresh plea that sought a stay on the film’s release.
