Irrfan has shared the first look of his character Champak from his upcoming film Angrezi Medium and that’s just not it, because we also have another update for you. Kareena Kapoor Khan will co-star in the film as Radhika Madan confirmed on Instagram. Irrfan plays a sweet shop owner in the film, a sequel to his 2017 film Hindi Medium.
“GMB serving since 1900s It’s going to be fun to tell another story #AngreziMedium. Coming soon, with Mr Champakji...Aa Raha Hu phir entertain Karne Sabko,” Irrfan wrote on Twitter along with a picture of himself from the sets of the film.

Radhika, meanwhile, began filming Angrezi Medium over the weekend and posted about it on Instagram and also used Kareena’s hashtag. “As excited as the man behind!So so so grateful for this new journey. @irrfan @homster @maddockfilms #kareenakapoorkhan #dineshvijan,” Radhika wrote. Well, that’s confirmation enough.
Several reports since the past few months insisted that Kareena will play a cop in the film but no other details of her character have been confirmed by makers so far.
Deepak Dobriyal plays Irrfan’s brother in the film. Homi Adajania is directing the film.
Irrfan was last seen in 2018’s Karwaan.
