The teaser of Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film Kabir Singh has been released and it is smashing to say the least. Shahid’s Kabir Singh is an efficient doctor as the teaser begins with an introduction by his professor, “This is Dr Kabir Singh. He is one of the best students ever graduated from Delhi Institute of Medical Science with an impeccable academic record.”

But that’s not the point, as in the backdrop of his character sketch delivered by the professor, Kabir actually is a staunch alcoholic and chain smoker with severe anger-management issues. He rides a Royal Enfield with effortless ease with a cigarette in between his lips, has a crass undertone and also beats up goons after being informed of their misdeeds. What’s constant though is his love for Kiara Advani’s character as the teaser concludes with Kabir planting a kiss on her cheek while he exclaims, “Kisine nahi dekha.”

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Kabir Singh is scheduled to release on June 21.
