Salman Khan is back as Chulbul Pandey and the third istallment of his hit franchise Dabanng recently went on floors in Madhya Pradesh. Now after being embroiled in a controversy when photographs of a "Shivling" covered with wooden planks during the shooting of his film circulated on social media, Dabangg 3 has landed into fresh trouble. As per a news agency, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has served notice Salman and his production team, asking them to remove two film set pieces constructed inside Jal Mahal in Mandu.
The report further states that the construction carried out by the team of Dabangg 3 were in violation of the Ancient Monument and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act 1958. In fact, the notice, signed by the Mandu Sub Circle ASI Junior Conservation Assistant, apparently mentions that permission for film shooting would be cancelled if the above directive is not followed.
Not just this, Salman and his team has also been accused of damaging an antique figurine while shooting at a fort on the banks of the Narmada river in Maheshwar town in Khargone district. It is being said that the stone figurine at the fort suffered damage when the film’s set was being removed.
Meanwhile, amidst all this, there has been no reaction by Salman or his team. Produced by Arbaaz Khan, Dabangg 3 also stars Sonakshi Sinha and is directed by Prabhu Dheva.
