Madhuri Dixit Nene is all set to explore her vocal skills by launching her pop album and releasing her first single by the end of 2019, a leading daily reports. During her interview with the daily, Madhuri said that she has recorded the songs but couldn’t proceed further on the project owing to other commitments. The 51-year-old actress is yet to shoot for the videos.
"This is the first time I am exploring singing on a professional level. It has been a while since we were ready with the album. However, due to other commitments, we did not get the time to shoot for the videos. It is important to have a video to go with the song. We will release the first single this year,” Madhuri told the daily.
The report also states that Madhuri had apparently provided vocals to the song Rangi Saari Gulaabi from her 2014 film Gulaab Gang with her mother Snehlata Dixit.
Her new album, though, is of the pop genre and contains six songs. Sharing details of it, Madhuri added, "It's an English album with six songs. Although each song has a different flavour, they all belong in the realm of pop music.”
Madhuri Dixit, last seen in Total Dhamaal, is currently gearing up for the release of her new film Kalank, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt.
Kalank, directed by Abhishek Varman and co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, will release on April 17.
