Karan Johar’s ambitious drama Kalank is all set to release on Wednesday but we have another interesting update for you as the teaser of Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming film India’s Most Wanted will be screened in theatres before Kalank begins on screen, a leading daily reports. India’s Most Wanted writer-director Raj Kumar Gupta confirmed the news to the daily, saying that the teaser of his film has been attached to Kalank.
"At a time when the audience is loving superhero films, my movie is about real heroes who save lives, and is set in the real world,” Raj Kumar told the daily, adding that he wants the audience to preview the plot of the film in the theatres ahead of its release.
Arjun shared the first poster of India’s Most Wanted on social media today, and announced that the teaser will release online tomorrow.
Speaking of the film, Raj Kumar also said, "One has to keep the sensibility of the subject intact even when we are adding elements of fiction. The film has been shot in real locations. When you are shooting in such locations, it's not about what you want, but about what you get. It tests (your skills)."
India’s Most Wanted is reportedly based on the mission that captured India's most wanted terrorist, without firing a single bullet. In the film, Arjun has been cast as an intelligence officer. The film is set to release on May 24.
Kalank, directed by Abhishek Varman, stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. The film will release on April 17.
