These days’ southern stars are no longer relegated to having fans only from the south belt. After Baahubali’s stupendous success the line between the Hindi film industry and the regional southern cinema has been erased and stars like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Vijay Deverakonda all have a huge fan base in the Hindi belt too. Pabhas is one such actor who has seen tremendous growth in his fan base after the release of his film Baahubali. As the actor gears up for his upcoming film Saaho that also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, he made his Instagram debut in an albeit exceptionally silent and shy manner.
A couple of days ago, his team had released a press release stating that the actor has decided to give in to his fans’ demands and will make his Instagram debut soon. He did make his presence felt on social media today by garnering a whopping 761,000 followers without a single post. His account that is by the name @actorprabhas doesn’t have a display picture or any post, yet it boasts of an immense fan base that will pale several Bollywood stars’ accounts in comparison.
While Prabhas’ publicists announced his entry on the photo-sharing website, they did not reveal his handle but the actor’s fans did not waste time in waiting and eventually found out the handle. The account is still under process as it does not have the blue tick of verification yet. Prabhas will soon be making a proper debut with a post soon which will further increase his fan base.
