After wooing the audience with the remake of Judwaa, director David Dhawan is all set to work with his son Varun Dhawan in the remake his '90s blockbuster Coolie No. 1, which starred Karisma Kapoor and Govinda. What's more? Sara Ali Khan is reportedly playing the female lead in the film. Now adding to the excitement, we now hear that Varun and Sara would be recreating Govinda's and Karisma's on screen magic as the makers are looking to retain two popular songs from the film, Husn Hai Suhana and Main To Raste Se Ja Raha Tha. An entertainment portal quoted a source as saying, "We plan to keep the original songs in the remake. Why should David Dhawan re-mix those hits when they are popular to this day?" 

Earlier too, Varun had told Peepingmoon.com that the essence of the first film will be retained in the adaptation. "When we do something like this the idea is that the essence has to be the same. But at the same time, the film is completely different. It is not a remake, it is an adaptation. But the title is the same," the actor had mentioned.

Meanwhile, will the fans love the adaptation as much as the original film, is still left to be seen.

Interestingly, Varun and Sara are said to have already shot for the first poster of the film and the makers intend to launch it on the actor's birthday (April 24).
