The war-of-words between Kangana Ranaut and Alia Bhatt has taken an ugly turn and is going on in full swing on social media with new players being added to the battle. Earlier, Kangana had slammed Alia for not supporting her film Manikarnika: the Queen of Jhansi and now she has lashed out at her performance in Gully Boy and called it “mediocre”. Alia in her defense said that she will work extra hard to please Kangana. Alia’s co-star from Highway, Randeep Hooda jumped into the fray to defend her and took a dig at Kangana. However, Alia’s sister Pooja Bhatt was not very pleased and seems to have taken a jibe at Hooda with a cryptic tweet.

Pooja wrote that supposed co-stars and friends come to offer solace and she wonders what their hidden agenda is. It is a little surprising as Randeep’s tweet was in support of Alia and should have pleased Pooja. If Pooja did take a dig at Randeep then there must have been immense bad blood between the two because Pooja should have appreciated his gesture of coming to her baby sister’s rescue. However, all this is conjecture since Pooja does not name Randeep in her tweet, but in all probability is hinting at him.

And then the hyenas come out to offer solace disguised in the garb of co-stars & supposed friends. What drives them I wonder? Inherent self-loathing or guilt at their own compulsive capacity to indulge in loose talk? Either way,forgive them Lord for they know not what they say.

Randeep’s tweet also did not go down too well with Twitterati who alleged that he is trying to get his foot into the Dharma camp. He was also targeted by Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel and called him a 'permanent failure' However, let’s wait and watch and see what unfolds further in this battle.
