Akkineni Nagarjuna and daughter-in-law Samantha Akkineni are all set to star together in the former’s ongoing film Manmadhudu 2 that is being directed by Rahul Ravindran of Chi La Sow fame. After Majili’s success, Samantha is called the Queen Bee of Tollywood and is one of the most sought-after actresses in Tamil ad Telugu film industry. Reportedly she will play a very special role in Nagarjuna’s film.
Recently, Samantha confirmed that she will be playing an extended cameo in Manamadhudu 2. Talking about her ole, she said, “I play a very interesting extended cameo in 'Manmadhudu 2'. At the moment, I'm not allowed to reveal anything about my character but can vouch that it's going to be an important one in the story. I am really looking forward to start shooting." As per reports published on a website her role is said to be a turning point in the film.

Nagarjuna had recently shared photos from the sets of the film and had captioned them as, “Me and my #Manmadhudu2 family!!! Loving it!!" The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh in the lead and she will be romancing Nagarjuna for the first time in her career.
Manamadhudu 2 also stars veteran actress Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Devadarshini, Nasser and Rao Ramesh in supporting roles.
