Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel comes out in her support in ‘Mental Hai Kya’ controversy, says ‘silly-ex and nepotism gang attacked her called her bipolar’

Kangana Ranaut’s elder sister and manager Rangoli Chandel has responded to all the controversy surrounding the actress’ upcoming film Mental Hai Kya. The film was criticized for allegedly discriminating against people with mental health issues and trivializing the disorders. However, Rangoli took to Twitter to write that the film does not offend anyone and “everyone will be proud of Mental Hai Kya the topic and subject she has chosen will trigger relevant talk and discussions around the stigma.”

In a series of tweets, Rangoli revealed that two years ago Kangana was relentlessly attacked by her “silly ex along with nepotism gang attacked her just to publicly embarrass and discredit her, they called her Mental and bipolar.” She also recounted how endless jokes and memes were made on the actress to insult and harass her but Kangana fought back and pledged to fight against the stigma attached to the illness. She also wrote that Mental Hai Kya is a story of fight against this very prejudice that Kangana faced two years ago. Check out Rangoli's tweets below:
