After a hectic schedule, Varun Dhawan is all set to enjoy his birthday in Thailand with his school friends and flew out of Mumbai on April 21, a leading daily reports. The actor will turn 32 on April 24 while sources close to Varun told the daily that he will be in Thailand for a week and has planned an interesting itinerary for their vacay.
Varun and his friends will camp across Thailand apart from attending combat sport Muay Thai training sessions. “Varun, who is a sports enthusiast, wanted to do something different for his birthday this time and settled on learning the Thai sport, which is also known as the ‘art of eight limbs’ as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. The party will also explore beaches and the local cuisine,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily.
The actor, however, will resume filming Remo D’souza’s Street Dancer 3D in Mumbai after returning from Thailand as per the report. Street Dancer 3D co-stars Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva and Nora Fatehi.
In fact, the first look of Varun’s upcoming film Coolie No.1, co-starring Sara Ali Khan, is also scheduled to release on his birthday. Coolie No.1 is an adaptation of the 1995 film and will also be directed by Varun’s father, filmmaker David Dhawan.
Varun Dhawan’s Kalank, meanwhile, released on April 17. Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank co-stars Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit.
