Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero but the film failed to impress the audience and tanked at the box-office as well. Although the actor was supposed to star in Saare Jahan Se Achcha, the Rakesh Sharma biopic, he bowed out of it at the last moment. In fact, rumours have been rife that SRK wants to take his sweet time to finalise his next project after the Zero debacle. Amid all this, Shah Rukh might may not have zeroed in on his next acting project but we hear that he is looking to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a project titled Izhaar, to be produced under his film production banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.
Apparently, SLB has got the title registered with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA). Although it is not confirmed if SRK would star in the project but Bhansali would certainly not direct the project himself. A source close to the producers informed, “It is being said that Red Chillies Entertainment and Bhansali Productions will come together to produce the film. Shah Rukh Khan is expected to star in the movie, which will be helmed by a big director. The director has not been finalised as yet and will be done once Bhansali and Khan concur on the name.”
Well, after a gap of 17 years post Devdas, we cannot wait to see what the successful duo has to offer with their upcoming project.
