Boney Kapoor's and late actress Sridevi's daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, recently appeared on Neha Dhupia's chat show, BFFs with Vogue. During the show, Khushi recalled that her mother Sridevi found out about her tattoo by accident and said, "I didn't tell mom and dad where I got it. She found out because she was on Instagram and she saw a picture of me and a friend of mine and I was wearing a low-cut T-shirt. She was like, 'Khushi! Did you get a tattoo?' And I had not told her. I had just asked her, 'Can I get one?' She was like, 'No, you're not.'"
The young star kid further stated that her mother got suspicious because she believed that her tattoo had something to do with a boy that she was interested in but in fact, it was the birthdates of Khushi's family members - her mother Sridevi, her father Boney Kapoor and her sister Janhvi Kapoor - inscribed on her upper left midriff. Hearing this, Janhvi joined into the conversation that Sridevi "got really emotional" when she found out what the tattoos stood for and said, "For a minute, she got really emotional but then she got really suspicious. Like, 'Are you sure it's not some boy's birth date or something?'" Eventually, Khushi did not get into much trouble as she stated, "We could laugh about it."
Meanwhile, Janhvi may not have got herself inked but she talked about the time when one of her female fans tattooed her name on the back of her neck. On the show, Janhvi said, "I was overwhelmed. I was leaving the gym and going for some photoshoot, I think. I was just taking a casual stroll outside my gym and she was like, 'Can I take a picture with you?' Her friend was like, 'She has a tattoo of your initials on her neck,'" further adding, "I was like, 'Shit!' Someone caught that on camera, I think there was a pap there. But it was just...tattoos are intense! I remember I wanted to get a tattoo with Khushi and I chickened out."
On the work front, Janhvi is currently shooting for Kargil Girl and will be seen in Takht as well.
