Ananya Panday says she wants to learn laughing at her own self and taking everything in a positive manner from her father Chunky Panday

Ananya Panday, the most energetic one amongst the Student Of The Year 2 trio, is currently busy promoting her debut film. The newbie spoke about her father Chunky Panday and if he gave her any piece of advice regarding her career.

When asked about daddy Chunky's contribution to her evolution and her interest in the field on cinema, Ananya said, “So my dad actually… People keep asking me what advice he has given you and stuff but like I feel like he has not given me any advice because he wants me to just do my own thing. He thinks that you know, the time that he used to act, you can’t really apply many of the same things at this time. So I think he’s just letting me be. He never even came on set like the first time he saw anything of my film was on Youtube, at the trailer launch event. So I think he’s really letting me just be my own self and like just letting me do my own thing and he doesn’t want to interfere too much. But I think I’ve learnt a lot from his behaviour because even though like before I was born, he was this huge star and then after I was born he took, kind of like a break from doing big films. He’s never changed as a person. I think he’s always been as nice and he never says no to anyone for a photograph. He’ll be the sweetest to everyone. Everyone always talks about his personality and he’ll be the one always taking jokes on himself and just always like laughing. So that’s something I wanna learn from him, it's just laughing at yourself and just being able to take everything in a positive manner."
