Priyanka Chopra becomes the first ever Indian woman to get featured on the list of Most Influential Asians on Gold House’s A100. Yes, our own desi girl Priyanka has secured a spot amongst the top names in the list that honours the who's who of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
Apart from Priyanka, the list features names like Comedian Hasan Minhaj, Killing Eve star Sandra Oh, Crazy Rich Asians actor Awkwafina & director Jon M. Chu and actor Darren Criss, celebrity chef David Chang, K-Pop group BTS amongst several others.
Priyanka, with ventures in the West, received the tag of a global icon and why not. Previously, Priyanka became the first woman of Indian descent to get featured on the Variety Magazine's Power of Women - LA Impact list. Establishing herself as an entrepreneur, singer, and a successful producer, Priyanka has time and again made fans and youth look up to her and feel proud. Priyanka also unveiled her wax statue at six Madame Tussauds across the world.
Workwise, Priyanka completed the shoot of Shonali Bose-directed The Sky Is Pink co-starring Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf and shall appear in a central role in the Hollywood film Isn't It Romantic. On the personal front, Priyanka married pop singer Nick Jonas in Christian and Hindu rituals in Udaipur in December 2018. She subsequently appeared in the Jonas Brothers' video titled Sucker, sharing the screen space professionally with husband Nick for the first time.
