Sharddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer horror-comedy Stree was one of the most loved films o 2018. Now adding to the excitement, we hear that a sequel to Stree is likely to go on floors next year with the same cast. A leading news agency quoted a source as saying, “It will happen next year. We are working on the script. There are few ideas for Stree 2. The expectations are high on Stree 2, so the team wants to give their best shot as we are not in a hurry to make it," adding that the audience will see the core cast of the film return for the sequel as well.
Apparently, the sequel is currently in the scripting stage and we must say, we cannot wait to see Rajkummar and Shraddha carve their magic on the silver screen once again.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, Stree had earned Rs. 180 crore worldwide. Also featuring Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree was set in the small town of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, where an evil spirit named Stree abducts men in the night during festival season. Reportedly, it was based on the urban legend of Nale Ba that went viral in Karnataka in the 1990s.
Meanwhile, apart from Stree 2, Rajkummar will feature in another horror-comedy, Rooh-Afza, co-starring Janhvi Kapoor.
