Amitabh Bachchan wasn’t able to meet fans on Sunday outside his Mumbai residence Jalsa – a routine practice that he has been following since the past 35 years – since he was in “pain”. On Twitter, Big B posted a message, saying, “All Ef and well wishers .. not doing the Sunday meet at Jalsa Gate this evening ..”

“That there is concern is heartening yet embarrassing .. to put so many in distress and worry is not to be intended at all .. it was my concern to them that stand in the heat and sun outside the gates of Jalsa, that they should not continue to be there ..,” Big B wrote on his official blog.
In fact, Big B had also informed his security personnel to inform fans that he will not be able to greet fans and had made arrangements for drinking water for those waiting in the Mumbai heat to catch a glimpse of the star.
“I had informed staff and security too, to keep announcing to those that gather, that I would not be able to come out .. I hope that they did .. and I do hope that the drinking water arrangements made were sufficient and useful .. any discomfort is regretted and apologised for ..,” Big B wrote, adding, “Look .. the conditions my body has suffered is now well known.”
Big B, 76, has been meeting fans outside his residence every Sunday religiously and thousands gather at Jalsa to witness his magnificence.
Workwise, Amitabh Bachchan, last seen in Badla, will appear next in Jhund, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Brahmastra and Tera Yaar Hoon Main.
