In the Met Gala 2019 Behind The Scenes video shared by Vogue, Deepika Padukone, as she got ready for the gala, admitted that her husband actor Ranveer Singh would have been a perfect fit for the gala owing to his crazy sense of dressing and if he would be present at the gala, he would have done 100% justice to the theme that suggests dramatic and over the top styling. She also said he would be a perfect fit for the night and she is 'representing' him on the pink carpet.

"My husband has a crazy sense of dressing. He would be a perfect fit for tonight and for the theme. He would have done 100% justice to the theme. But I am representing him," Deepika quipped as she got ready for the do in her dressing room.

For the Met Gala 2019, Deepika opted for a pretty pastel pink ballroom gown with 3D embellishments that represented embroidery and resembled a Barbie doll. Sticking to the theme of Camp: Notes on fashion, that demands loud and dramatic fashion sense, Deepika preferred to keep it elegant and beautiful. On the contrary, if Ranveer would have been a part of it, we could have expected it to be a fest of bright colours and wacky styling ideas.

Coming to Deepika and Ranveer, the couple dating for six years before tying the knot at the Lake Como in November 2018 with close friends and family in attendance.
