Huma Qureshi has lambasted an entertainment portal for claiming that her ‘ex’ Sohail Khan and his wife Seema Khan ignored her at the special screening of the film Student of the Year 2. She expressed her ire and anger on social media and slammed the portal in a series of tweets.
The entertainment portal had claimed that Sohail and Seema ‘ignored’ Huma and maintained a safe distance from her at the special screening of the film starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. However, Huma took to Twitter and wrote that the publication needs to apologize to all three of them and how dare they malign her name and reputation like that. Check out her tweets below.
You need to apologise to all of us !! You have no ethics , no morality and just because actors choose to ignore idiots like you .. you think we are scared of u . Not at all.

Back in 2016, it was rumoured that Huma and Sohail are in a relationship. However, the actress had rubbished the rumours at that time too. She had said, “What really hurts is that without knowing the truth about my life, they (media) go ahead and put these stories. And I'll tell you why they do it; they do it because they want to take away all the attention from my hard work. They want to show that whatever I have achieved in my life is because of my closeness to a particular man, who may be coming from an influential family or is influential himself. That is disrespectful.”
Huma in another interview had referred to Sohail as a brother and had said, “Whenever something like this comes up, unpleasant, ugly, I just go to social media and I respond to it. Getting linked up to somebody who you consider your brother is a bit much I feel. It's really sad.” Interestingly, Huma’s younger brother Saqib Saleem starred in Salman Khan’s film Race 3.
