Taapsee Pannu and the makers of the upcoming horror film Game Over released the first teaser of the film on social media platforms on Wednesday. The 1-minute 25-second teaser offers endless thrilling and intriguing moments for the viewers to take back home. Set against the backdrop of a video game, Game Over is a never explored niche and a new age engaging presentation of a film that belongs to the genre of horror-suspense.

The teaser opens with Taapsee talking a morning jog in the park. She is later seen sitting in front of a computer with the screen of a computer video game. A few seconds later we get to see her character bound to a wheelchair, who is terrorized by a mysterious person in her apartment where she lives all by herself. The question now arises whether Taapsee begins hallucinating as a result of excessive usage of games or is it connected to some supernatural phenomenon. Talking about the background music, it earns a brownie point for building the right amount of thrill and scare. With a peculiar sound that resembles Mario game to the clock ticking in a silent room, the music sends a chill down the spine. Watch the teaser here.

Taapsee has been cast as a wheelchair-bound gamer. Game Over is directed by Ashwin Saravana and bankrolled by S. Sashikanth. The film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Anurag Kashyap will be presenting the Hindi version of the film which is scheduled to release on June 14, 2019.
