Censor board passes Ajay Devgn's and Rakul Preet Singh's De De Pyaar De with 3 visual cuts; replaces alcohol bottle with flower bouquet

Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh starrer De De Pyaar De has hit the silver screens today on May 16. But the CBFC or Censor Board, as it is popularly known, passed the film with 3 visual cuts in the original edit and gave it a U/A certificate. As per a report in a leading daily, the first cut by CBFC comes at just 10 minutes into the film after Rakul's scene with her holding “alcohol bottle” has been replaced with those of her holding a flower bouquet. In fact, similar visuals of her in song, Vaadi Sharaban, that comes around three minutes later, have been changed as well.

That's not all! The dialogue "performance better hoti hai" has been deleted. Two other dialogues, "Manju ji ke aalu O ho ho wahi ache hain..” and “ki yeh sab jhoot hain”, have also been deleted along with the visuals. Not to forget, De De Pyaar De first grabbed eyeaballs after the trailer of film came out and it featured #MeToo accused Alok Nath. However, Ajay defended himself by saying, "Jinki aap baat kar rahe hai woh film uske pehle complete hui."
