After treating the fans with an interesting trailer and songs Chashni and Slow Motion, the makers of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat have unveiled the latest song from the film, titled Zinda. Interestingly, director Ali Abbas Zafar is making his debut as a lyricist and composer with the song, which is more like the film's anthem. While he has also penned it, Ali has set Zinda to tune with Julius Packiam, who has worked on the background score. It has been sung by Vishal, from the composer duo of Vishal-Shekhar, who have worked on album of the period-drama.
To say the least, Zinda is an uplifting track which traverses Salman aka Bharat's journey through seven decades and infuses with the strength of purpose. Talking about the song, Ali had earlier mentioned that the uplifting track plays during the most vulnerable moments when Bharat is on a high or has hit a low. See for yourself:
Bharat, which is set to release on Eid, also stars Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi and Sunil Grover. As it traces India's post-independence history from the perspective of a common man, Salman will be seen in different looks as he ages from 1946 till present day. It is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. It is produced by Salman Khan Films in association with Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.
