Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are looking forward to the release of their upcoming film Bharat. Today, the lead pair of Ali Abbas Zafar’s film launched the new song Zinda from the film. During the media interaction, that followed, Salman spoke about Bharat’s plot and it being adapted from the Korean film Ode To My Father.
Talking about the plot of the film, Salman said, “Ismein (Bharat) bahut zyada entertainment hai, emotions kam hai but plot bada strong hai (Bharat has lots of entertainment, and less of emotions, however, the plot is very strong).

Salman also spoke about Bharat being an adaptation of the Korean film Ode To My Father but is pretty different from the parent film in its treatment and said, “Woh film dekhi thi aur uska plot bahut achcha laga tha and wahi humne liya hai. Baki ka we changed everything about the film. The film had more emotions and less humour, so humne woh change kiya. Jo emotions hai who khushi ke emotions hain.”

Bharat also stars Disha Patani, tabu, Aasif Sheikh, Sunil Grover, Sonali Kulkarni and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Atul Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar. It is slated to release on June 5.
