Laxmmi Bomb: Akshay Kumar brings to us one bomb of a story; first poster out

Akshay Kumar shared his first look from Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kanchana. The film which co-stars actress Kiara Advani is a horror comedy directed by Raghava Lawrence, who helmed the Tamil franchise as well. According to reports, Akshay will be seen in the role of the protagonist who gets possessed by the transgender ghost, Kiara will play his girlfriend.

Akshay shared his first poster on Twitter and captioned it as, "Bringing you one bomb of a story,#LaxmmiBomb starring @Advani_Kiara & yours truly!Bursting in cinemas on 5th June,2020 Fox Star Studios Presents A Cape of Good Films Production in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House Directed by Raghava Lawrence." The actor is seen with applying kajal on his eyes in this new intriguing poster. Have a look:

The team had kickstarted the shoot in April. Filmmaker Lawrence had posted on social media and shared the news along with a photo of himself with Akshay. He wrote, "Hi dear friends and fans! Shooting of Hindi remake of Kanchana, starring the great Akshay Kumar Sir, has began. Need all your blessings."

Apart from Akshay and Kiara, the Hindi remake will also star actor Tusshar Kapoor. It has also been reported that megastar Amitabh Bachchan will portray a transgender in the film but there is no official confirmation yet.
