John Abraham suffers a muscle tear during Pagalpanti shoot in Mumbai; advised 20 days rest

John Abraham, who was last seen in Romeo Akbar Walter, has an eclectic lineup of films ahead. After completing the London and Leeds schedule of Anees Bazmee's Pagalpanti, the actor recently started shooting for the film at Mumbai's Mehmoob Studio. However, in a rather unfortunate incident. John ended up with a muscle tear in his arm while filming an action sequence in a truck and hence, he will not be able to shoot for the next two weeks. A source from the sets informed a leading daily that John has been advised rest for the next 20 days to avoid aggravating his injury and added that his co-stars, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D'cruz and Kriti Kharbanda, were also part of the scene.

Meanwhile, producer Kumar Mangat confirmed the news, saying, “It was a simple shot, but mistiming caused the injury. Ninety per cent of our shoot has been completed in London and Leeds. This is the last schedule in Mumbai which we will have to reschedule now. After a week, we will decide when to resume depending on how quickly he ecovers. We will wrap up the film by June end.”

Well, we certainly hope that John recovers soon and is back in action.

Reportedly, the film stars John as down-on-luck commoner, Raj Kishore, while Ileana plays Sanjana, his lady love. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series and Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak's Panorama Studios, Pagalpanti will now release on November 22 instead of December 6 this year.
