Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 has been grabbing headlines ever since it was announced. The film, which was supposed to release in January this year, was later pushed for a July 26 release. But the makers soon realised that it will clash with Ekta Kapoor's Mental Hai Kya, the release date of which was moved from July 21 to July 26. Since it is known that Hrithik and Kangana Ranaut have been at loggerheads for more reasons than one, the actor decided to shift the release date of his film. In a a statement about the shift in the release date, Hrithik said he wants to avoid any 'trauma and toxic mental violence’ because of the box-office clash, however he did not share the exact release date of Super 30.
Now as per a report in a leading daily, the makers of Super 30 decided to not delay the release date but rather prepone it. “Hrithik Roshan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala had a discussion on the new release date and they decided to not go further down as it would get closer to the release date of the Yash Raj Films’ Hrithik Vs Tiger project. It was important that there is a gap between Hrithik’s two releases and it was decided that they should come earlier even if that meant a clash with some other film,” a leading daily quoted a source as saying.

But given the preponed release date, Hrithik's film was once again expected to clash with Ekta's film, this time with Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi. Thus, Ekta has reportedly decided to return Hrithik's favour and is looking to change the release date of her film. “What’s interesting is that even if Super 30 did not clash with Ekta Kapoor’s Mental Hai Kya? it will clash with her other project Jabariya Jodi, coming on July 12. This effectively means that Ekta will now change the date of her other film, since the Super 30 makers decided to shift the date to avoid a clash with Mental Hai Kya?," added the source.
Meanwhile, we await the official release dates of both Super 30 and Jabariya Jodi.
