Salman Khan is currently neck deep into the promotions of her upcoming film Bharat, starring Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi and others. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is slated to release on Eid, June 5. While Katrina and Tabu have worked with Salman before, Bharat is Disha's first collaboration with Salman and she certainly is excited, although she feels that she might not get to work with Bhai after Bharat. "Ali sir called me with a role which is more of a special appearance. I heard him out and since the character is that of a trapeze artiste alongside Salman sir, I came on board. Honestly, I don’t know if I will ever get to work with Salman sir again. Even Ali sir told me this while narrating the script," she told a leading daily.
Citing their age difference as the reason, Disha who will be playing the role of a trapeze artist, added, "Obviously because of the age difference between us. In Bharat, it is acceptable because that portion shows Salman sir in his 20s and 30s so, it was an immediate yes. He is a wonderful human being and very hard-working. I got to learn a lot from him. That aside, Bharat is special because I had never done a film set in a different era."
However, when Salman was asked to comment on Disha's statement, he laughed off and told PeepingMoon.com, "There will be more opportunities to work with her, despite of age difference, Inshallah." Well, we must say, Salman's and Disha's chemistry in the Slow Motion song is palpable and we cannot wait to see more of them together.
Produced by Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series, Bharat is an adaptation of the Korean film An Ode To My Father and traces the journey of a man and a nation together.
