Salman Khan is a superstar and has a fan following that can make any other celebrity turn green with envy. However, the actor also boasts of having several younger celebrities as his ardent fan. Varun Dhawan is one such name in the list. From taking up Salma’s roles in remakes to dropping comments on his Instagram posts to now doing a cameo in his upcoming film Bharat, Varun has become Salman’s No.1 fan. This fanboy attitude has also resulted in some brownie points for Varun as Salman thinks that the young actor has what it takes to be a potential superstar.
Salman, who is well-known for launching new talents in Bollywood was recently asked that among the new generation of actors who he thinks has the makings of achieving superstardom in Bollywood. To this Salman said, “I think Varun Dhawan. He is among the better ones of the whole lot." However, he further added as a note of caution for Varun and said, “He (Varun) just needs to curb his enthusiasm."
Varun has proved his acting mettle in Bollywood and has proved to be one of the most consistent commercial actors in the last seven years since his debut. In fact, almost all his films have been super successful at the box office and he has also experimented with different roles and genres in a very short span of time.
