Salman Khan’s period drama Bharat is all set to release in a week’s time. The film is one of the most anticipated films of the year and has already generated quite a buzz amongst the audience. The film will see Salman in different avatars as he ages from a young man to an old veteran since the film spans a cool six decades. However, unlike other festive releases that see a price hike on tickets, Salman is ensuring that he keeps it nominal for his fans as an Eidi from his side.
A trade insider said, “While festive season is the time when superstars hike the ticket price for their movies by 30-40% at times, Salman has decided to not go their way and instead keep the rates nominal so as to make sure tickets don’t weight too much on his fans pockets especially during Eid. The ticket prices will be pegged lesser than that of Kalank, Zero or even Thugs of Hindostan and will be at par with Simmba.” Since Salman’s last Eid release Race 3 failed to ignite the box office it would be interesting to see how Bharat fares at the box office and what will be its final collection.
