Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan Jaaferi is gearing up for the release of his film Malaal. He will be seen alongside debutante actress Sharmin Segal, who is the niece of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and started assisting SLB from the film Baajirao Mastani. The trailed of their film was released recently and it was hailed by celebs and critics alike. Now as the two join the long list of kids from Bollywood families, who have made their Bollywood debuts through the years, producer and actor Kamaal R Khan took a sly dig by referring to them as 'duffer actors'. Slamming the filmmakers for launching star kids, he wrote, "If film makers are launching such none talented and horrible looking actors just coz of nepotism then it’s a crime. Public will never ever waste hard earned money to watch such duffer actors. So Bollywood people should stop thinking that people are idiots so they can fool them."

Soon after, Meezaan's actor-father Jaaved hit back at him by calling out his tweet as the 'frustrated voice of a failed actor'. He further reminded him that not just his son, the audience has accepted other star kids like Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ajay Devgn and others, over the years.
Aah th frustrated voice of a failed actor..Here is a list of some ‘benefactors of nepotism’ who the ‘idiot’ audiences have been ‘fooled’ by for years. #AamirK #SalmanK #AjayD #FarhanA #AbhishekB #SanjayD #SunnyD #SaifAli #RishiK #Karishma #Kareena #Kajol #Raveena

Jaaved did not stop there and in another tweet, mentioned how no one puts money on untalented actors. Although stars kids may get a big launch, he pointed out that their career afterward depends entirely on their mettle. See for yourself:
In a highly competitive and volatile industry, nobody puts money on ‘horrible’ ‘non talented’ ‘duffers’. Actors with links in the industry only get priority for the initial interview post which they have to prove their mettle and survive the test of audiences n time

Bankrolled by SLB's production house, Malaal is directed by Mangesh Hadawale and is releasing on June 28.
