Writer-director Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, wife of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, was detected with pre-invasive breast cancer last year. Ever since then, she has documented her journey of battling cancer on social media, from posting photographs of chemotherapy to sharing how cancer changed her attitude towards life. On the occasion of Cancer Survivor Day, Tahira posted an inspirational video on Instagram, wherein she called her cancer 'scar', a birthmark. Set against the backdrop of a hospital's operation theatre, the one-minute twenty-seven second clip features Tahira laying on a hospital bed and surrounded by doctors.
Sharing the video, Tahira wrote, "I hope this video is taken in the right spirit. Not each of us has same cancer, or the same stage, or even the same circumstances." As she started off the video by saying "a small mark, a big meaning," she saluted all the warriors in her post by saying, "I bow my head to respect the unpredictability of life and I raise my head with determination to deal with it too."

Meanwhile, her husband Ayushmann, who has been her support in her battle against cancer, could not help but be proud of her 'warrior princess'.
