The makers of Shahid Kapoor's- Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh dropped the third song from the film titled Mere Sohneya on social media platforms on Thursday. The song speaks about Shahid's Kabir and Kiara's Preeti's pure, innocent blossoming love. Mere Sohneya delves deep into the emotions of unconditional love.
The song opens up to Preeti lost in thoughts of Kabir during an ongoing lecture in college. As soon as the lecture ends, she rushes to meet him. Surprised to see her, Kabir gives her a piece of mind for skipping college but soon shares a warm hug with her. Later, the Kabir and Preeti go on a vacation with a couple of friends. A while into the song, we see Preeti packing her bag. Cut to the next scene, she is seen walking with Kabir on snow-clad roads, giving us an insight into their mushy, sweet love story. The song concludes with Preeti and Kabir sharing some intimate moments together. Mere Sohneya's tone gives us an insight into Kabir's and Preeti's beautiful paradise. Watch the song here:
Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur have lent their vocals and also composed Mere Sohneya while Irshad Kamil has written the soulful lyrics. Talking about Kiara, she is an absolute delight to watch. Her simplicity speaks volumes for her character while her pretty eyes do most of the talking. Shahid as the love-smitten Kabir is just perfect and a treat to watch.
Kabir Singh is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu superhit film Arjun Reddy with Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. Like the original, Kabir Singh is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is produced by Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios along with Bhushan Kumar and Vinod Bhanushali from T-Series. Kabir Singh will release on June 21, 2019.
