Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat has set all records straight with raking the first day collections at the box office as the highest ever of all times for the actor. The film, which had a grand opening on the day of Eid on Wednesday (June 5), continued to impress the audience on its second and third day. With strong word of mouth, Bharat continues to attract more family audience to theatres.
The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial in now inching towards the 100 crore mark. Bharat has garnered Rs 22.20 crore on day three, taking the grand total to Rs 95.50 crore.
Bharat had marked a huge first-day collection of around Rs 43.30 crore and an unbelievable second-day collection of Rs 31 crore despite it being a working day. Bharat is the second highest collection of all time for a Hindi film after Thugs Of Hindostan which marked a moolah of Rs 50 crores at the box office.
Bharat, produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar under the banner of Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd. and Salman Khan Films, presented by T-Series hit the silver screens on June 5 on the occasion of Eid.
