Kiara Advani is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Kabir Singh, co-starring Shahid Kapoor. The film is a remake of the popular Telugu film Arjun Reddy that originally starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey, and is slated to release on June 21. It narrates the story of Kabir (Shahid), a young final year medical student who falls in love with Preeti, his junior in college. Kiara essays the role of a simple college girl Preeti in the film.
Now in a recent interaction with a daily, Kiara was asked about the time when she had her first love affair in real life, to which she candidly replied, "I fell in love and had an affair when I was in 10th standard and immediately we broke off for the reason that I was in 10th. My mom scolded me that I can't have an affair because I was in standard 10th and need to concentrate on my studies."
Not to miss, Kiara has been linked up with Bollywood actor and Shershaah co-star, Siddharth Malhotra. Calling them "alleged" stories which are reported, Kiara reacted to the link-up rumours and said, "Earlier I used to read such stories in the paper and get upset over it but now I laugh about it and it's fun. Over the time, I have realised that it is part and parcel of the industry business."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kiara has been on a career roll. She recently landed the her first 'in and as' film -- Indoo Ki Jawani and apart from that, she will also be seen in Good News, Shershaah and a Hindi remake of South hit film Kanchana, which is titled as Laxmmi Bomb.
