Sunny Deol's son and veteran actor Dharmendra's grandson, Karan Deol, has been grabbing eyeballs ever since his debut film, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, was announced. The project, helmed by his father Sunny, also stars debutante Sahher Bambba. However, the film, which was earlier slated to release on July 19 this year, has been shifted to September 20 as Sunny's political duties have taken centre-stage post his election win from the Gurdaspur constituency.
The actor, who attended his first session of the 17th Lok Sabha at the Parliament House in New Delhi on Monday as a MP, announced the new release date of his son Karan's debut on Twitter and wrote, "The wait may have become longer but it will be worth it! #PalPalDilKePaas will now release on 20th September."

With the new release date, Karan's Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas will clash at the box-office with Sonam K Ahuja's The Zoya Factor, co-starring Dulquer Salmaan. "Ever since his victory in Gurdaspur last month, Sunny has been busy taking stock of the situation and planning various measures that need to be implemented in the city. Knowing the important role that a debut vehicle plays in an actor's career all too well, Sunny doesn't want to give divided attention to Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. So, he thought it best to push the love story by two months," a source working closely on the Sunny-directed film revealed to a leading daily. Confirming the news, Sunny's spokesperson said, "The actor was busy with his political duties because of which a bit of post-production work is remaining and that will be completed soon."
With the new release date, we cannot wait to see Karan, third generation of the Deol family, to foray into Bollywood and carve his magic on screen.
