Samantha Akkineni is currently busy gearing up for her upcoming film Oh Baby. While giving an interview to a leading daily, Samantha spoke about film offers getting dried up for her post-marriage. The actress, who at the peak of her career believes directors aren't approaching her due to her married status.
"I believe that now I am not getting as many films as I did before marriage, but I think that's more because they really don't know what to do with me anymore in the film," Samantha quoted.

"You know, I'm suddenly carrying this mantle of post marriage, a heroine who is actually... But, I don't know how much of credit I can actually take for it because there were films like Rangasthalam and Mahanati that I was doing even before marriage, and they happened to release post marriage and become phenomenal hits. So I can't really take the credit that it happened post marriage," the Rangasthalam actress told.
Sketching out her career plans well, Samantha, during the interview quashed the rumours of her entering into Bollywood and said she believes that she still has got the stuff to give to South cinema.
Speaking of Samantha's personal life, she got married to her long-time boyfriend Naga Chaitanya in 2017. Workwise, after Oh Baby, the actress will be seen in 96 and Manmadhudu 2.
