Shah Rukh Khan made his Bollywood debut 27 years ago in Deewana on June 25, 1992, and as they say, the rest is history. The film also starred Divya Bharti and Rishi Kapoor in the lead. The superstar earned a place in the hearts of Indian cinema lovers and has managed to stay there for all these years. Along the years he earned the monikers like the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ and ‘King of Romance’ as well.
Today, on completing 27 years in Bollywood Shah Rukh expressed his gratitude and thanks to his millions of fans across the world reminiscing about the time he waded into everyone’s hearts singing Koi Na Koi Chahiye Pyar Karnewala and doing stunts on a motorcycle. He shared a video on social media and captioned it as, “27 years. Thank you for the awesome 27 years everybody and Thank you Sharad for the bikes!”

SRK thanked his fans in the video and said, “Hi guys, I’m going to say a big thank you for 27 years in Indian cinema which is actually exactly half my lifetime on Earth. I have been trying to entertain you for that many years, sometimes I have succeeded but many times I have failed so I am going to thank you for bearing with me for so many years since I came on a motorcycle in a film called Deewana singing Koi Na Koi Chahiye Pyar Karnewala riding into your hearts and allowed me to stay there for so many years. Thank you very much, and it is a coincidence that my friend Sharad has sent these two bikes to try out the stunts I did in Deewana 27 years ago. So I am going to give it a shot but this time I am going to make sure that I’m wearing a helmet. Always wear a helmet while riding.”
Shah Rukh was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero last year that also starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. However, he is yet to announce his next project and has taken a break for some time.
