It is not only the common people who are in awe of Tiger Shroff’s unbelievable martial arts skills and flexibility, but the actor has also got a fan following in his Bollywood colleagues and seniors as well who just cannot fathom how can someone be so supple and so gravity-defying. Now, the latest buzz is that the actor will choreograph his own action sequences in his upcoming film Baaghi 3. Directed by Ahmed Khan the third installment of the popular Baaghi franchise is supposed to have high-octane action sequences and a mix of martial arts with different weapons and fighting styles.
A leading tabloid quoted a source, “Tiger has always been an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) expert. Now, he is learning new forms in it while also practicing Kalaripayattu, Kung Fu, Krav Maga, Kick Boxing and Muay Thai. He wants Baaghi 3 to be filled with big and unique action sequences and is already developing new stunts with Ahmed."
Tiger also confirmed his added responsibility of taking up choreographing the fight sequences and said, “Fortunately, my director is open to suggestions, so we do a lot of back and forth on that. For instance, if my kicks or my hand-work is good, my inputs are considered by the stunt team and the director. Then, my action directors show me their ideas and if they are well-executed after some practice, it's the best of both worlds."
Tiger is preparing himself by watching the films of English actor and martial artist Scott Adkins, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan for reference and inspiration. Baaghi 3 will go on floors in Mumbai next month and will then proceed to Morocco, Turkey, Siberia and Egypt. Baaghi 3 also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead as well as Riteish Deshmukh. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios. It is slated to release on March 6, 2020.
