Remo D'Souza stands in the list of one of the most successful directors right now. The choreographer turned director has been shelling out back to back blockbuster films since the time he made his directorial debut in 2011. After creating a storm at the box office four years ago with ABCD 2, Remo is now ready to set the box office ringing to his tunes with Street Dancer 3D featuring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. Of late, rumours surrounding the shift in dates of the dance-based film has been doing the rounds across media. Reports stated that the makers had to push the release date ahead to make way for Varun's wedding with his girlfriend Natasha Dalal. Putting all speculations to an end, Remo disclosed the real reason for the delay and it has nothing to do with the wedding.
Remo, in a chat with a leading daily, said not Varun's-Natasha's alleged December wedding but heavy post-production work, the makers had to push the release date ahead. Speaking of the actor's nuptial, Remo told he has no idea about it.
Tired of giving a denial to his wedding rumours, Varun put forth his statement in firm words in a recent interview with a leading daily. Not just him, his father David Dhawan asked media to keep calm as the family will make an official announcement when things get a final touch.
Talking about Street Dancer 3D, the multi-star cast film has been shot across several locations like Dubai, Amritsar and Mumbai. The principal shoot began at the Wagah Border with Varun's dance act on Republic Day this year. Apart from Varun and Shraddha, Street Dancer 3D features Nora Fatehi, Aparshakti Khurana, Prabhu Deva with other professional dancers. The film was initially scheduled for a November 8, 2019 release but it will now hit the screens on January 24, 2020. Directed by Remo, Street Dancer 3D is produced by his wife Lizelle D'Souza, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
