Is Aryan Khan gearing up to join father Shah Rukh Khan's production company Red Chillies Entertainment?

Speculations have been rife for long about the Bollywood debut of Shah Rukh Khan's elder son, Aryan Khan. While nothing has been announced yet, Aryan recently grabbed headlines when he was roped in to lend his voice to the character Simba in the Hindi version of Jon Favreau's The Lion King, which has SRK dubbing for King Mufasa. Now interestingly, Aryan's frequent visits to his father's production company Red Chilies' office in Khar west, Mumbai over the last two months, has triggered rumours that the young star kid might soon join his family business.

"He started taking interests in reading scripts, meeting people to discuss content and understanding the movie business. He has been representing the production house at meetings concerning new projects under the company's banner," sources close to Red Chillies told a magazine.

Meanwhile, earlier too, Shah Rukh had made it clear multiple times that Aryan is more keen towards film-making and film-writing rather than being an actor. In fact, a report quoted SRK as saying that Aryan may assist producer Karan Johar in his next directorial Takht. Now with the recent development, it seems Aryan is all set to take his father's company forward with his expertise. For the unversed, Red Chilies Entertainment is a film distribution and production company, which the actor started in 2002 along with his wife Gauri Khan.

For now, there has been no official confirmation from either SRK or the company.
