Anushka Sharma, like a doting and dutiful wife, watched her husband, Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli defeat Sri Lanka during their battle on the ground yesterday. Little did she know that she would soon become a subject of trolls for the animated expressions she gave while the cameras were focused on her. The actress, who was busy humming Sukhbir's song Ishq Tera Tadpave, promptly changed her expressions as soon as the camera was on her and looked straight into it from behind her tilted sunglasses. As the pictures from the match went viral, there was no stopping for Twitter memes.
Anushka's gaze became the talk of social media and was the beginning of a hilarious meme fest. Take a look at some funny memes inspired by Anushka here:

Speaking of Virat, he remained unbeaten on 34 and Hardik Pandya hit the winning runs to give India a chance of finishing above group leaders Australia, that will play South Africa in the later match at Old Trafford. The Indian team will play against New Zealand at Old Trafford in Manchester on July 9, 2019. On the other hand, Anushka, who was last seen in Aanand L. Rai's Zero, will be producing a horror series titled Bulbul, based on superstitions. The show will air on Netflix later this year.
