Indian actor Vijay Raaz who was recently seen in Zoya Akhtar's film Gully Boy has agreed for being a voice over for a Hindi feature film with an extraordinary subject called The Wild Cards by director KK Binojee.
The film The Wild Cards depicts the reality of slums which are widely considered as factories for criminals and how the young boys from these slums are forced and directed towards crime. Wild Cards in detail takes us through the journey of some such criminals who are moulded in such a way, by the society they grew up in. Vijay who is known for his remarkable and cult performances in the Bollywood industry has taken upon another such project with The Wild Cards where his narration has given the story the much-required tribe and vibe.
The director stated, “Vijay Raaz Sir loved the story at the first narration, he told me that the story of the film sounds appealing and he would love to be a part of the film. I felt that this is a story which is needed to be told with a narrative and Vijay Raaz is a perfect fit for this job and I know he will give his 100%. I hope the audience get the message this story tries to evoke amongst them and achieve the greatness it deserves.”
The Wild Cards is the first feature film beautifully written and directed by extremely talented KK Binojee who has worked with the likes of Ram Gopal Varma and Krishna Vamsi. It is produced by Munaf Baluch and Sanjog Singh of Sara Film Factory. This film cast actors of the NSD and Theatre like Sushil Pandey, Akkash Basnet, Vikram Singh Sodha, Ashish Warang, Nakul Tomar, Meenakshi Pandey, Maya Gehlot and other talented theatrically claimed names.
