It won't be wrong to say Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are one of the most successful onscreen jodis in tinsel town. The perfect amalgamation of beauty and strength has worked out brilliantly for filmmakers in the past. Katrina's and Akshay's professional association that kickstarted in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye in 2006, has continued to maintain its charm till date. After shelling out super hit films together like Namastey London, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng, the duo is all ready to set the screen on fire after 10 long years in Rohit Shetty directed Sooryavanshi. The actress, while giving an interview with a leading daily, opened up about her equation with Akshay and said with him, it feels like she is going home. She also added that Akshay is dedicated, focused and loves his craft that is mirrored through his work.
"With him, it always feels like going back home. He is a wonderful co-star. Still so focussed and dedicated to his craft. He loves his craft and you can see that," Katrina told during the interview.

Katrina, who is reaping the fruits of yet another commercial and critical success- Bharat spoke about the pressures that follow every release. Speaking further about Sooryavanshi, Katrina said expectation from the audience is high as it is a Rohit Shetty film " I think we all have the pressure to deliver with every film. Every actor wants and craves for that box office success and acceptance from the audience. But at the same time, we are prepared for hits and misses," Katrina quoted.
While talking about Rohit, with whom she is working for the first time, the actress told, "He is very clear and precise about what he wants. He has an amazing team to support him."
Sooryavanshi stars Akshay and Katrina opposite each other. In the film, Akshay plays the role of Anti-Terrorism Chief Veer Sooryavanshi while nothing much about Katrina's role is out in the open. The film is scheduled to release on March 27, 2020.
