Janhvi Kapoor, who was filming for her upcoming horror comedy RoohiAfza along with Rajkummar Rao in Manali recently, had some unexpected visitors leave notes stuck on the door of her hotel room. The local kids around her hotel are die-hard fans of the Dhadak girl and on learning that she was there, they quietly stopped by to post ardent pleas for her to meet them. “Hi Janvi Mam. We want to meet you as soon as possible. We are your big fans. We kids are very excited to meet you,” read the fan’s note to the actress.

With RoohiAfza, it will be the first time Rajkummar will be seen sharing screen space with Janhvi. The film, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and directed by debutant Hardik Mehta, also stars Varun Sharma. It is slated to release on March 20, 2020. This will be Rajkummar's third collaboration with Dinesh Vijan after Stree and Made in China.
Talking about the casting, Dinesh earlier told a news agency, "For RoohiAfza, we needed actors who could jump into their roles with unabashed conviction. Rajkummar and Varun are phenomenal actors, comedy is a space they excel in and own. For the female lead, we needed someone who could portray two contrasting personalities with ease, and Janhvi stood out. She really connected with the script."
The team is currently shooting in Agra.
