Ajay Devgn to join Sanjay Dutt for the ongoing Hyderabad schedule of Bhuj: The Pride of India on July 11?

Bhuj: The Pride of India, spearheaded by Ajay Devgn, has been locked for release on August 14, 2020. The film celebrates the courage of the 300 women of Madhapur in Gujarat, who played a pivotal part in India's victory in the 1971 India-Pakistan war. It tells the story of how these women got together to repair the only runway in Bhuj that had been destroyed during the war. Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, Parineeti Chopra and Ammy Virk star in the film, produced by T-Series and Select Media Holdings LLP.

Interestingly, Sanjay kickstarted the film on June 25 at Ramoji Filmcity in Hyderabad and he was later joined by Sonakshi. While Sanjay will play Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari ‘Pagi', Sonakshi will be seen as Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, a social worker and farmer. Now we hear that Ajay Devgn, who has returned from a vacation with wife Kajol and kids, will join the ongoing schedule of the film on July 11. Ajay will be seen playing a war hero, Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, in the Abhishek Dudhaiya-directorial. “He begins his portions with Sanju on July 11 in Hyderabad. After that, Ajay will fly to Gujarat where a major chunk will be shot with him," a leading daily quoted a source as saying. The film marks Ajay's and Sanjay's reunion after 2012 comic caper, Son of Sardaar. Talking about their characters, producer Bhushan Kumar told the daily, “Sanjay and Ajay’s characters are powerful and are the force behind the story. The audience will see them together in a different avatar."
