The makers of Batla House have been keeping the audience hooked by releasing posters and teasers of the film and now after much-anticipation, the trailer is finally out and it is an attempt to unravel the truth behind the incident.

For the unversed, on September 13, 2008, a series of bomb blasts in Delhi claimed over 26 lives and injured over 133 people. An operation was conducted on September 19 by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police, who raided a flat in Batla House. Two alleged terrorists, Atif Amin and Mohammad Sajid, were shot dead by the police. Certain political leaders, however, had termed the encounter as fake, claiming the alleged terrorists to be innocent students. Now in Batla House trailer, John as Sanjeev questions the innocence of the accused and answers if it really was a fake encounter or was the nation prejudiced? Ofcourse, there are some hard-hitting action sequences that keep you hooked and not to miss, a dance number from Nora Fatehi, who plays a pivotal role in the film. Nonetheless, what follows after the controversial encounter and how John's character struggles to find a balance between his personal and professional dilemmas, forms the crux of Batla House.
