After dating for around six years, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Italy's Lake Como in November 2018. Ever since then, the couple has been giving us major couple goals. In fact, it was only recently that Deepika shared a romantic image in which she holds her actor husband Ranveer's hand and called it "complex simplicity". This was not the first time the two have shown affection for each other on social media. Ranveer keeps commenting on the actress's photographs and Deepika too makes updates about her actor-husband.
Now in an interaction with a leading daily, Ranveer talked about his life post marriage with Deepika and revealed how their relationship has evolved, ever since. Claiming that 'it has only got better', Ranveer said, "Now, we’re cocooned in love, and there is no space for doubt or misgiving. It’s grounded-ness, centred-ness, security, warmth, and joy. We share experiences and laugh together. The added security that comes with marriage has allowed our relationship to blossom further." When prodded who relents first after a fight, Ranveer was quick to respond, "We don’t fight."
The actor further opened up on one aspect of Deepika that no one knows about and said, "There is a child-like quality to her that nobody other than me has the privilege of seeing. It’s a precious part of my life." Isn't that lovely?
On the work front, the couple has previously co-starred in Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. Now Deepika will also be seen sharing screen with Ranveer in Kabir Khan's '83. The movie traces India's historic victory at the 1983 cricket World Cup. Ranveer plays the team's captain Kapil Dev while Deepika essays his wife Romi. '83 marks Ranveer's and Deepika's first film together after their wedding last year.
