Earlier, we told you Diwali; but now there are indications that Rishi Kapoor, who is in New York’s Sloan Kettering Hospital since September 29, 2018, wants to be back by August end – and definitely home in September. The actor, who had a health scare and went overseas for treatment, is now on the speedy road to recovery. He is therefore optimistic about returning by August end. On Ranbir Kapoor’s recent visit to the Big Apple, Rishi was seen bonding with his son and his son-in-law Bharat Sahni at a NY eatery.
One could see from the photograph posted by Neetu Kapoor on Instagram that Rishi was looking cheerful and fit. The 102 Not Out actor has knocked off nearly 26 kilos. This combined with the good weather in NY has added some extra pink to his otherwise rosy cheeks. Quite naturally, Rishi is feeling upbeat. There are four reasons why Rishi wants to be home in September. The month is special to the veteran actor and he has four important dates earmarked on his calendar.

One understands RK Senior’s eagerness to make it home in time for all of this. Besides, of course, getting back to his first love – acting. When he left last year, Rishi had a couple of really good films in hand. And numerous scripts lying ready for him to read.
On another note, October 1 will mark his mother, Krishna Raj Kapoor’s first death anniversary. It was rather unfortunate that Rishi had flown out before she breathed her last and couldn’t make it to her funeral last year. Now he will definitely want to be here for her first anniversary.
