Ranveer Singh is a people’s superstar and his huge appeal cuts across the length and breadth of the country. The versatile actor has time and again reiterated that his only wish has been to entertain people through is cinemas and spread joy in whatever way he can. Ranveer commands an army of fans who live by the same example set by their beloved on-screen star. And looks like they have done something remarkably incredible on the superstar’s birthday that is July 6. One fan club that goes by the name - Ranveer Ka Fan Club, has been active since 2015. Formed by a hardcore fan named Dr. Amir Ali from Indore, this club has dedicated their lives to do voluntary work in the name of Ranveer. Each year they spread joy in orphanages and villages on the occasion of Ranveer’s birthday and recently they have started a program called Ranveer Gram Program.
“This year this fan club lit up a village! In a small village called AKALOLI, they installed 5 solar street lights and 5 house lights! The villagers have been using kerosene lamps for more than a decade now and cannot afford electricity. “It was extremely difficult for children from these families to study in such poor light conditions. We Ranveerians felt that Ranveer sir taught us to be happy and spread smiles and now it’s our duty to spread cheer and happiness everywhere,” said Amir Ali, Founder of the fan club. They intend to continue their good work in the days to come.
In a video released by the fan club after installing lights, a village lady is seen saying, “My name is Asha Trimbak Ahede. We live in the jungle from last 17 years and we don’t have any electricity source. We live in the dark before you guys have us light. Thank you for giving us light.” And a kid is also seen saying, “We studied under the kerosene lamp we can’t see the words properly. Thank you for giving us light and now we can study properly under the light.” Watch the video here:
